Every State
Today’s map shows the corporation or brand that best represents each state. Designer Steve Lovelace explained his criteria: “In each case, I picked a brand that a) has ties to that state and b) is still in business.”
A few of the smaller states are a little hard to read at this size: New Jersey is Campbell’s, Delaware is DuPont, Vermont is Ben & Jerry’s, New Hampshire is Timberland, Rhode Island is Hasbro, Massachusetts is Gillette, Maryland is GEICO, and the District of Columbia is C-SPAN.
