Owners of historic homes in Riverside may be eligible for city grants of up to $25,000 to fix up their properties.
The city’s Historic Preservation Fund provides money to residents, businesses, public agencies and other organizations to improve historic properties in Riverside. Applications are due by Friday, Aug. 28, and will be considered by a committee that oversees the fund.
Grant awards are expected to be announced in October. Information on guidelines and application forms are available by calling 951-826-5371 or at www.riversideca.gov/historic/incentives/asp.
